Bobi Tsankov, Bulgaria's new mafia stories writer, was shot dead in broad daylight in downtown Sofia. Tsankov was shot in the roofed market of the building. His two bodyguards were wounded and taken to the hospital, where they are listed in stable condition. The two men, allegedly, worked in a security firm, tied with a notorious Bulgarian crime boss – Zlatomir Ivanov aka Baretata (The Barret), as reported by Martin Radoslavov, Editor-in-Chief of the popular weekly tabloid “Weekend”, where Bobi Tsankov published most of his investigations.
