| The Bourgas district court will decide what measures should be taken against Mehmed Zefer Alihan. The Turkish citizen was arrested together with Aishe Nur Ansanlar and Yahya Demirel, a nephew of the former Turkish President Suleiman Demirel in the New Year’s Eve. The Bulgarian Border Police supported by the National Security Service arrested in the Bourgas city port the “Rizah Terzioglou” ship, which sailes under Turkish flag. Bulgarian authorities found the three Turkish citizens on the board of the vessel, who as it was disclosed later were illegal passengers. The arrested Turkish citizens offered 40 000 Euro as a bribe, which they later raised up to 100 000 Euro. The Bulgarian authorities found on board a large quantity of pharmaceutical products and undeclared sums in Euro and US Dollar currencies, said the Bulgarian police. It is known that Aishe Nur Ansanlar and Yahya Demirel, who are may be a husband and wife, were released after the interrogations and checked in a hotel, while Mehmed Zefer Alihan is still in the police arrest.
